Notebook #20 βHarvard Revisionβ
- When revising you need to step away from your work for some time to allow your brain to take some time to readjust from looking and writing your paper for so long
- Allow others to look at your work and give you constructive criticism because they have a fresh and new perspective and outlook on what you are writing about; donβt take it personally they are just helping
- Make sure to rethink your thesis and make sure itβs strong and straight to the point about what you talked about throughout your essay because things can change as you research and learn more and more
- Proofread OUT LOUD. because you tend to skim when just reading in your head because you think you know what you wrote. Your ears will help pick up sentences or words that sound off
